ABS-CBN on Friday, March 4, held the first audition nbsp;for its reality TV show, Pinoy Big Brother< Season 4 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) concert grounds. The organizer estimated the crowd to have reached more than 10,000 people. The attached video shows more than 5,000 people already lined up for the auditions at past 8:00 in the morning.
First number (00001) went to a guy who, accordingly, went to MOA a night ahead of schedule.
It was past 7:00 pm of Friday that the PBB 4 staff already advised the hopefuls via Facebook not to go to MOA anymore.
"Dahil sa sobrang dami ng pumunta ngayon sa MOA, nakikiusap po kami na abangan na lamang ang mga susunod na auditions sa Manila at iba pang bahagi ng bansa. Maraming, maraming salamat Kapamilya!," the PBB staff posted.
Minutes later, the organizer announced that they have already stopped receiving applicants for the MOA audition and told the hopefuls to just attend in the next schedule date and venue.
The PBB staff sent the following status update on Facebook: "Para sa kapakanan at seguridad ng lahat, pinapayo namin na huwag na po kayo tumuloy sa MOA ngayon para mag audition. Magkakaroon pa po ng susunod na auditions sa Manila. Salamat po sa inyong pag-unawa."
Hopefuls who went to the audition said the MOA experience was worth the wait and sacrifice.
